Boetcher's Lift Truck Service Inc. is a family owned and operated business established in 1979 by Gary Boetcher under the name of Better Lift Truck Service. Gary a life long resident of Columbus, Ohio was employed for fourteen years as a field mechanic for Dravo Marks. He would travel weeks at a time doing field repairs at strip mines and road construction sites throughout the Eastern, Central and Southeastern United States. His primary responsibility was to repair at that time the largest production dozer in the world manufactured by Allis Chalmers. In July of 1979 he gave notice that he was leaving his employment to start his own company.

In October 1979 Better Lift Truck Service was born as a one man repair shop. Working out of a two car garage he did on site and in shop repairs no job was ever to big or small and remains that way today. With Service being his number one priority Gary began working on all types of truck lifts including Rough Terrain units always giving his customers prompt service and reasonable rates. His philosophy is to do the job right the first time with minimum down time.

With his wife Sharon and son Tony by his side the business was destined for success. In 1981 when Tony graduated he became a full time employee. Then in 1984 the business incorporated under the name of Boetcher's Lift truck Service Inc. There sales expanded to used reconditioned lift trucks, rentals and parts, with there number one priority still being Service.

In 1987 Gary's younger son Toby joined the company full time and expansion continued. They became Distributors for Mustang, Pettibone/Traverse Lift and Harlo Rough Terrain Equipment, Skid Loaders and Mini Excavators. They now service all brands of lift trucks, skid loaders and mini excavators from the largest to smallest. we also offer on site and in shop repairs still keeping Service Number One. 

Our belief is the customer always come first, for this reason we have expanded our parts department and offer walk-in or delivery of these parts. with sales of all types of lift trucks we offer pick-up and delivery of your equipment for repairs. Our Workmanship is 100% Guaranteed.

Today Tony is President, Toby Vice President, Sharon is Secretary/Treasurer and Gary is C.E.O.
